Simple But Promising

These blueberry branches came with the bouquet of tulips  I got the other week. They are still "alive" and developing buds, serving as a reminder that winter will eventually be defeated; even though this morning the thermometer was again down to -20°C.

Hi, visiting from Words Words Words. I don't recognise the quote you have in your header from Dawn Treader, which tells me it is a long time since I read it and had better go back and read it again. Mind you reading 'Howards End is on the Landing' the other day my daughter and I were disgusted when Susan Hill made a comment about the door in the back of the wardrobe leading in to Narnia, when of course everyone knows there is no door, only coats.
thanks for sharing, loved the tiddly pom poem from Winnie the Pooh too
