It Just Doesn’t Look Right

It is not uncommon. We often do get a first snowfall in Mid October. It still doesn’t look right, though!

Doesn’t feel right either… Brrrr!

It's so strange to see this! Although it's getting "cooler" I can still wear t-shirts and sandals comfortably!

dear DawnTreader, you are right: it really looks strange to see the grass covered with snow, while there are still green leaves on the trees. the trees should be 'naked' before snow comes to cover them ....
here it is the same: the mountains of black forest are snow-topped since two days, nights are frosty already - but trees and bushes and flowers are not yet ready for winter. neither am I ;-)

mo jour, you got it right... That's exactly how I feel!

I know you are not exactly happy to see the snow, but it makes for really pretty photos to show us. i like that bench photo a lot.

I was very late with some comments last night, so I hope you saw my comment on your post yesterday. Well, your last picture says it ALL, how very clever! You are just becoming a master at this kind of thing. The fall leaves picture along with the ones of the snow. It's crazy, isn't it?

It certainly isn't right! I like the third pic with the footprints.

Sandra, I'm sure there will be snow pictures enough... At least if this winter turns out anything like last year... five months or so until I'm likely to be reporting signs of spring again... /sigh/
