A Day of Waiting

DSCN6505-1

This morning I got a phone call that my father was being taken to the hospital. Not the kind of emergency that made it seem like the wisest choice for me to just rush over there head-over-heels though; so instead it has been a day of phone calls and waiting by the phone. In the late afternoon I learned that he was to be admitted to a ward. Remains to be seen for how long, and what might follow. My presence in the Blog World might be a bit more sparse over the next few days; but thankful for your thoughts and prayers.

Dawn Treader...We will be praying as well. I hope ti is not anything too serious. It seems that we (or at
least I will speak for myself)are at that age where if we are lucky enough to still have a parent around...they are getting to the age where the health begins to fail. I hope for the best for you and your dad.

I hope that things are not too hard for you and your dad. You are in my thoughts.
