These questions made me realize that over the past year I’ve slipped out of the habit of keeping a list of all the books I read and listen to. For years I kept such a list on my desktop computer, but then that computer crashed back in November 2009… Eventually I got the old documents from it back, but in the meantime I had failed to start a new reading list. I think the problems I’ve been having with an eye (PVD and “floaters”) contributed too. I’ve been reading mostly by ear (audio books) lately and many of them have also been Swedish books not available in English; which makes it meaningless to review them here.
Among the English books I enjoyed this year, the first that come to mind are the first three novels in Alexander McCall Smith’s series 44 Scotland Street. (Link goes to a previous BTT-post of mine.)
I don’t think I find it worth the time and effort to try to recall what might have been the worst!

Interesting answer. I just started about the middle of this year to keep track of the books I read and whether I liked them or not. I sometimes forget I've already read a book and bought it again, therefore, I started my list of books I read.
I read so much, i can't remember them all, there is no worst because if it is bad i don't read it. which ever book i am reading at the time is the best i think. i read 2 to 3 books a week and i did try keeping a list but it was to much work so stopped. since i get my books from the library if i get one i have read before, i just take it back.
Can you believe when I was young and had a small child, I would read a book a day? And not small ones, either! I don't know how I did it. I used to have hundreds of books and many bookcases. Sadly, I don't have now time to read now, too mnay jobs. But I still buy the books, and love looking in the bookstore and even the smell, I could live there. The books continue to pile up.
This was one of the hardest BTT's yet.
Best: The Trophy Bride's Tale by Cyrilla Barr
Worst: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Favorite: Everyone Loves Elwood by Karen Quigley
My husband and I both love 44 Scotland Street series. It is so-o-o-o funny.
