On 15 June Sandra = MadSnapper and her friend SquirrelQueen are encouraging us to post SILLY PHOTOS on our blogs and link them to SquirrelQueen’s post at The Road To Here.
SILLY defined as “silly, crazy, blooper, or just simple mistakes”.
I’m afraid most of my bad pictures tend to be just boringly bad, rather than haha-silly.
… like my attempts to take photos of birds very high up in trees. (Why do I even try?!)… lion cubs at the zoo; with a crowd of other photographers between me and the cage.
… duck running towards me. (Help!)
… my brother’s dog, enjoying the sun.
Silly Or Not?
Two stones that you might well ask yourself why I bothered to take photos of. In fact both pictures were taken in a museum park, and both stones were used for different purposes in the past. Have a guess if you like - and you might as well dare go a bit silly...! I will give the answers tomorrow.
For a different kind of “silly” post, visit my DawnTreader’s Picture Book blog today, post entitled At The Zoo.

You bird in the tree photo looks a lot like some I have taken too. We keep trying because sometimes one might turn out right.
I love the one of the duck running toward the camera, he must have been looking for a handout.
I don't have a clue on the two stones but I will come back and find out.
Thanks for taking part in the challenge. We are getting some great photos so be sure to check out the other participants. I'm off to visit your other blog.
these are all great and all fit the bill for silly. love that dog silly. I think the flat square is the top to a well and the other one could be a MURDER weapon? ha ha silly me
I like your cute duck and dog and goofy lion cubs pictures. The two stones remind me of how the Southwest Native Americans would grind corn into flour.
The rocks? Grinding, the bottom one, table, the duck,,,,running......great silly pic!!!
I love the duck running toward you and the dog on his back, they are silly and funny!! I have taken many of those high tree bird pictures and they all look like yours. I've stopped trying. The stones. I think one covers a well or cistern. I don't think the round one is a murder weapon like Sandra said because it would be too big to manage, though I think she's kidding! Did they smash things with it, maybe grind some kind of food or herbs?

Hope you have a terrific day-
