Quotation of the Week (9/2010)

Prayer is not asking, it is a longing of the soul.
It is daily admission of one's weaknesses.
It is better in prayer to have a heart without words,
than words without a heart.

What a lovely picture. It looks like a Christmas Cactus. But the quote is just wonderful! I am copying it to put on our church prayer line. A beautiful post today.

I'll pass on commenting on the quote for once but is it just me or can anyone else see a wizard's face in the flower?

@Sandra & Ginny: November, Christmas, February, Easter... This one is not very particular about when to go into bloom! I think this specimen actually stems from a "November" cactus I bought 35 years ago when I had recently moved away from home.

@GB: I didn't see it before, but now that you mention it, I think I can. It must be trying to tell you something! ;) And it tells me you have the "eye of an artist" (which includes looking not just at the object but at the "empty spaces").
